Our Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Yoga Therapy Certification program will be held at the Prama Institute, a holistic seminar and educational conference and retreat center located on 150 acres of forested hilltops and grasslands in the Appalachian mountains about 25 minutes outside Asheville, North Carolina. The center has panoramic views of the legendary Blue Ridge mountains.

The institute provides facilities and programs for educational seminars and retreats in the area of spirituality, environmentalism, sustainable economics, holistic health, and other intellectual and artistic fields that contribute to human development and social change.

The name of the institute is derived from the Sanskrit term prama which means dynamic balance or equilibrium. To lead a personal lifestyle according to prama is to seek harmony between body, mind, and spirit.

For those traveling from outside of the region, there is an airport in Asheville, North Carolina that offers connections from domestic and international flights in Atlanta, Charlotte, or Raleigh. Our program will provide you with transportation to and from the airport in Asheville.
