The topic for today’s conversation is cultural appropriation & yoga, with a specific lens on yoga therapy. We’re going to talk about the roots of cultural appropriation,  things like should I OM, and say Namaste? We’ll talk about how in Yoga Therapy one of our principles is to meet the client where they are and how that may be problematic from the standpoint of acknowledging Yoga’s roots. And we’re going to talk about how to practice and teach yoga with reverence.
