Erin Alexander

Erin (she/her) began her career as a high school English teacher where she developed a love of teaching and helping students explore life’s mysteries, tell their stories, listen more deeply, speak their truth, practice compassion, and develop a sense of purpose and self-worth.

At the same time, she was silently struggling with a debilitating eating disorder and other addictive behaviors when she stumbled upon the practice of yoga therapy. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, Erin experienced profound healing through the yogic path and became determined to marry her love of education, serving others, and her passion for embodied practices that create positive change.

With over 1,000 hours of training in yoga therapy and her 20+ years of experience in education, Erin specializes in post-traumatic growth work that supports students in transforming trauma through movement, devotion, song, dance and community connection. She also supports heart-centered entrepreneurs in co-creating businesses they love while serving the people they are meant to.

Erin’s deepest longing is to instill hope in her students that through intention, focus, devotion and practice we all can access the natural human capacity to rise up together amidst challenge and change.
