Julie Shannon Williams


Julie has been an educator in many capacities for more than 20 years. She earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Minnesota and has over 20 years of experience as an educator. Julie is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), a certified Pain Care Yoga Trainer as well as a PCYCC (Pain Care Yoga Certification Course) trainer.

She lives and works in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in Minnesota. She is the owner and founder of Santosha Yoga Therapy LLC where she primarily works with people in areas such as: chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, functional yoga therapy, and mental health (including anxiety, depression, and grief).

She has created a wellness program for women called The New Face of Aging. This is a wellness program designed to support the pro-aging philosophy and revolution. It is a movement towards health and wellness that, at its core, is a “reset of the mindset” on how we age as well as a supportive community for women.

Julie is also the owner of Santosha Yoga Therapy Collective. She recently opened one of the first yoga therapy studios to house only certified yoga therapists provide healing support and educational opportunities for those in need and wanting to expand on their health and wellness journeys.

In addition, she teaches on a project-by-project basis with HealthPartners Neuroscience Center and TRIA Orthopedic Center in MN. Julie is an educator at heart leading seminars, trainings, and retreats in various locations.
