In this episode, I interviewed Shelly Prosko,  a Canadian physiotherapist, yoga therapist, author, speaker and educator dedicated to empowering individuals to create and sustain meaningful lives by teaching and advocating for the integration of yoga into modern healthcare. We spoke about her unique blend of physio (physical) therapy with yoga therapy, her new book with Neil Pearson & Marlysa Sullivan — Yoga and Science in Pain Care — and how her own injury shed a light on how yoga was left out of the medical model.

    1. Hi there Jenni! Thanks for your inquiry and your interest in yoga therapy. There are many paths and trainings that may be suitable for you, much depends on your needs, interests/preferences, resources, goals, intentions, and visions of how you’d like to use your training. I mentor PT’s on this path, and offer guidance. I’ll email you with more information.
